Europe needs new churches. Churches where the ancient truth of the Gospel—as relevant, powerful, and life-changing as ever—is expressed in fresh ways. Churches that are filled with the praises of God, and which become beacons of learning and culture, hospitality and refuge.

We are called to this vision.

Inspired by the ancient gospel centres, we find our focus in culturally important, city-centre locations in Europe; in church planting teams that are highly trained, motivated and strategic; and in teams that are willing to partner and ready to receive catalytic funding. The ancient and the new.

We have planted 42 churches in the cultural centres of Europe so far. Through a collaboration of church planters, networks, and donors, we have a dream to plant 100—flagship churches that collectively will shape the future of Europe. Can you help us?

Our Story

The Europe Collaboration started with a shared calling to plant and serve vibrant churches in Europe’s cultural centres. A group of donors found each other and recognised they could support European church planting more effectively by working together. Their vision was to see large multiplying churches established in key cultural centres across continental Europe - a vision for vibrant communities where the gospel is once again retold with life-changing impacts.

Our Dream

We have a dream that the ‘empty Cradles of Europe’, her churches, will once again be filled—those churches that once rang out with the praises of God, which were once centres of learning and culture, hospitality and refuge. And so, inspired by the ancient gospel centres that existed in days past, we find our focus in culturally important, city-centre locations; in church planting teams that are highly trained, motivated and strategic; and in teams that are willing to partner and ready to receive catalytic funding. The ancient and the new.
